Are you looking for a way to rely less on your glasses or contacts for daily activities but have been told you are not a good candidate for LASIK due to your age? We may have the perfect solution for you!

Vision Correction Options For Everyone

Everyone has heard of LASIK but not everyone is good candidate for it, this doesn't mean you don't have other options!

Most people in their mid 40's start to develop presbyopia and have increasing difficulties focusing on nearby images (this includes reading that small print on your phone). This is a normal part of your eye aging but can get frustrating when you have to switch back and forth between you glasses for distance and your reading glasses. Luckily there is a solution and its called a refractive lens exchange. The procedure is similar to that of a cataract surgery where the natural lens in your eye is removed and replaced by an artificial lens that can correct both your distance and up close vision to help reduce your reliance on glasses and contacts. The procedure takes about 10-15 minutes per eye and most patients notice vision improvements immediately, with best results noted about 4-6 weeks after surgery.

Think this may be the solution for you? Book your free consultation at Art of Sight to see if you are a good candidate!

A refractive lens exchange is a surgery and has some risks. Possible side effects include dry eyes or visual disturbances such as glare, halos, double images or starbursts. Also some activities may still require glasses or contact lenses. Discuss side effects and any other concerns you have with your surgeon.
