CATARACT SURGERY

The eye’s natural, clouded lens is replaced with a small artificial lens, called an intraocular lens (IOL), which restores clear vision.  We will determine, based on your examination, a customized solution to improve your vision.  Cataract surgery takes about 10 to 15 minutes per eye, and you can choose to do both eyes on the same day or come back a week later to address the second eye. Most patients notice an immediate improvement in vision, with the best results noted about four to six weeks later.
